NEW DELHI, JULY 22:
The country is unlikely to see many greenfield or privately developed cities in the future as most of the efforts would be on revamping existing urban areas, said NITI Aayog member Bibek Debroy.
“I think rare will be the case where India will have completely private-funded cities. That is unlikely to happen, nor there is going to be a case where we will have completely greenfield cities,” Debroy said, addressing the inaugural session of a conference here on Thursday.
