Come visit an exhibition of the stories of 35 chowks scattered throughout the pols of the city, put together by artists, architects, and urbanists from across india who have come together for a 5 day mapping workshop in the city. The pols have a layered built fabric characterized by narrow lanes, building density and a series of small void spaces, (chowks), which have an enduring presence in the experience of the city. strung along between tightly packed house clusters, they contain moments for gathering, for doing, for meeting; they are a pause on a path.
